goblin battlehost fates

Wed Mar 02, 2011 2:40 pm

So I just got the battlehost book and read through the rules (was a couple mins late for work cause i read too much :P)
anyway in the wording in some of the fates it says goblin hero or epic hero, when it says epic hero is it talking about goblin epic heros or any epic hero? example: stolen mithril coat says: "choose one goblin hero or epic hero in your army. That hero's resilience is increased by 1." so could i use this on khamul? (or even better, use unfair fight when khamul gets in a duel, khamuls fight plus ES durburz will be so powerful...)

I've always read it as meaning that any goblin hero or goblin epic hero could have the fate.

I did too, but I wanted to here from others. cause logically it should be only goblin heros, but acording to what it says it can be any epic heros....

It says one Goblin Hero or Epic Hero. It seems fairly clear, given context, that it means Goblin [Hero|Epic Hero]. But that may just be me being optimistic. ;-)

I think they meant to have goblin epic heroes. They way I look at it is similar to saying something like "any elf male or female". This sentence is not saying any elf male and any female regardless of race. It is implying an elf female too. Therefore, I think it is doing the same with "any goblin hero or epic hero"
