Quite an interesting basing technique. What did you do?

Thanks Lord Hyper, I used Green Stuff for the tiles, leaving some of the base showing where I put some Astrogranite (GW texture paint, although you could use sand instead), then painted the tiles with Mechanicus Standard Grey, drybrushed the base with Fortress Grey and then drybrushed it again with Skull White

Nice work, those KODA look great. How did you do the faces? For mine I used flesh paint and then ogryn wash, but it came out a little darker and less well-defined than yours.

Thanks Matt :) For the faces, I think I went for a 1:1 basecoat of Dwarf flesh:Bestial Brown, then layer with Dwarf flesh, then highlight with 1:1 Dwarf flesh:Elf flesh (and then on Imrahil I went for an extreme highlight of Elf flesh) before washing with watered down Bestial brown (I don't know the new paint names off the top of my head)
Hope that helps :)
