Oh
ok
shame, I love cave drakes :(
What we need is a few good 'taters.
What's 'taters, precious? What's 'taters, eh?
Po-tay-toes! Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew!

Hi all

please care to take a look at element games forums, They're really good
they're quite small but rich in techniques and ideas
why not help make them bigger?

Guys we've got some big changes coming up on the site in the next couple of months, I'll keep you posted here.

In the shorter term something with this forum in mind is going to be instigated in the near future!

It's a shame about the amount of stuff which is becoming direct only, I'd recommend shopping around on eBay if it's something you can't get from online stores at a discount.

Cheers,

Byron

Why not make an ebay shop dedicated to wargaming? :)

I definitely do not have time to run both! Also I don't have the items to sell; there's some people out there doing a pretty good job, 'wargaming trader' is one I think. Not to mention between eBay and paypal the cut is about 15%.

You may have noticed already guys but we have just instigated a

17.5% off RRP sale on all LOTR items, which will be running for the next 2 weeks while we work out bundles etc, consider this a 'welcome aboard' to all of you on TLA, happy shopping :).

As ever if we're missing anything/you have any issues or queries let me know here of via any of the other ports of call.

I assume the bundle will be cheaper than getting the books in your sale yes? Should I hold out?

Hi bud, we're yet to work out the specifics with Craig unfortunately, I'd hold off in case yes. Sorry I couldn't be more specific; I'll post here the moment I know, and in all likelihood that'll be the first bundle we work out so it shouldn't be too long.

mmm...
ive noticed some nice changes to your site since I last looked.
I espessially liked the sort of 'beginner' products below the catagories on the LoTR home
it might be a good idea put the mines of moria set in this section as IMO it doesn't really belong in the moria section

also would you consider stocking some non-GW products? UKfreddybear does some brilliant ents here:

what do you think?

Cheers Sid, I'll get on that soon.

In terms of stocking other ranges we have to walk before we can run, I have a list of other companies in order of priority, but expanding into other ranges is both hugely time consuming, risks crowding the website (we like it looking clean), and is expensive. All recommendations are being noted down for some day in the future but the margins that these independent companies make on their products are so small that we would have difficulty actually making profit if we stocked them.

Our first bundle is up! Craig is working on some others for the different forces etc, and we'll keep you up to date with anything the moment we know, we want to make sure the selections are spot on though so none of this is getting rushed.
