Website Logo and Dice designs

Thu Jun 21, 2012 3:11 pm

Things are in motion guys. Some big developments to bring you over the next wee period.

Two things we need at the moment however are;

- A 400 x 600 pixel Website Logo. Just a small square that says TLA in some cool way.
- A design for our new run of dice...

If anyone thinks they can come up with something, post away!

Perhaps something like the Tolkien logo?
(this one:

Plenty of possibilities there, depending on fonts and how to exactly place the letters (especially the A), just a quick idea:

mmm...
very nice logos
LK, the problem is its IMO not very clear
is there any way you could make one of the letters out of the helmets?
that would be cool
just a suggestion :)
What we need is a few good 'taters.

you can put the letters wherever you want
it's in a powerpoint file so they can me moved down below the helmets, all into one helmet, to the top.
Anywhere really.

Awesome! Really cool to hear that new TLA dice will be released! It's a shame that I didn't buy the old ones, but now I will be able to buy new ones.

Just one thing: the old dice were quite big. This is especially annoying when you need to roll a lot of dice. However, even some 12 was a bit much because they were so big. I would personally prefer (slightly) smaller ones, if everyone agrees of course. :)

That size was chosen as that is the standard size fro special dice and the same as the official ones, the logo would be pretty small if they can be done on smaller dice.

Not sure if smaller dice can be customised, nor if there will be enough room for a nice TLA picture, but smaller ones would be more practical. On the other hand, the old ones were fine too I think.. playing WotR with them was getting tricky, but in SBG one rarely throws more than 10-15 dice at once anyway (and usually much less than that).

By the way, one a bit closer to the original Tolkien version:

Oh yes of course, good points both. Never mind my comment then. :)
