Dwarf Shieldbearers & Captain

Tue Jan 29, 2013 6:28 pm

Hi guys, I love the shieldbearer models but I now have 3, so I wanted a little variety and decided I'd convert a 4th. This is my latest little project:

I also thought the captain needed a throwing axe, i think it worked well! :)

Here are a couple pics of my finished shieldbearers (just need basing)

Any comments welcome, I know the painting isn't the best but I hate painting and love converting, and dwarves are currently proving to be alot of fun. Thanks for looking, hope you enjoy.

Very nice! I'm always happy to see more dwarves :)

The shieldbearer with the horn is quite a clever conversion, as is the captain to his left.
Bilbo often used to say there was only one Road; that it was like a great river: its springs were at every doorstep and every path was its tributary.
