I remember an idea like this being attempted before over on the One-Ring but nothing came of it I think - however it's a fantastic idea! I'm mostly on the OR site by the name of Drumstick, so I might not reply often on here, but I'd be very happy to contribute. I'm able to provide a guide on building a Minas Tirith house (here's a link of a previous one I've done - http://www.one-ring.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=16255&start=640) as I've just started building another model so I shall take plenty of pictures for the stages. However I'm not sure who I send my work to or in what format (word, pdf etc..)

Also on that same note I have found a good example of another lotr magazine for SBG miniatures done by fans over on the CheeseWeb site. They only got three issues out but they're very meaty with lots in them! (maybe too much in one issue). I'll post the links at the bottom of the post but check them out anyway for some inspiration.

Note: These are all pdf files and are very large, you might have to wait for a bit.

Issue 1 - http://www.freewebs.com/tengwarbeacon/T ... eacon1.pdf

Issue 2 - http://www.freewebs.com/tengwarbeacon/T ... eacon2.pdf

Issue 3 - http://www.freewebs.com/tengwarbeacon2/tb3comp.pdf

Cheers folks

Welcome to the site! :)

You already signed up by replying here! So welcome on board! :) Your houses look fantastic, so I'm looking forward to an article.

You will be added to the special subforum on the site. It's called "TLA Magazine" and you should be able to see it once you're added. In that forum you'll see several topics and I suggest you read through them carefully to see what plans we've made. I will invite you to the Dropbox folder, but more on that in the subforum. ;)

I can't find the post, but SidTheSloth announced a while back that the whole thing tanked due to the lack of involvement.
