This is a proposed rule that needs playtesting, and is not guaranteed to make the final 'Unreleased Profiles' list.

Battlefield Siege Deployment - This warband may choose to count as rolling a 4 for deployment instead of rolling a die.
The effect of this rule is to allow the player to pick where the siege engine is deployed in most scenarios. Siege Engines are generally not competitive choices for open battlefields, and they are made worse when they have to be deployed 12" from the centre line. This proposed rule is an attempt to make them worth considering by making their deployment more consistent.

Deconstructing the rule
[] "This warband may choose" - it is not obligatory, in case the player is using a scenario where rolling would be more beneficial.
[] "count as rolling a 4 for deployment" - this wording was used instead of 'May pick where to deploy this warband' because some scenarios require a roll to enter the board (so the player cannot place the model until it is their turn')
[] 4 - the number 4 was chosen instead of '4+' because 4 is enough to get the siege engine in to position without giving it advantage in a scenario where a 6 (for example) is beneficial.
[] "instead of rolling a die" to make it clear the player can't roll for something better if they want to use this upgrade.

The reason for the price difference
5pts for large siege engines (or more specifically, those that can cause instant death)
3pts for small engines that use direct fire
