The things GW should have done again;
1 - if europe had the BGiME like they did before (U.S.A. didn't get those) that would be a big help.
2 - White dwarf dedicating 5 or more pages per month like they use to.
3 - Advertisements in other magazines (I saw adds in game mags for LOTR SBG)
4 - Sales in retail stores - I bought models at a Barnes and Nobel in those first three years, they were on sale next to the film cover versions of the book and all the other nick-nacks.
5 - the paint sets - the moria goblin one was around for a long time, a great add to a started set for beginners.
6 - hobbit dice? We got dice for almost every faction in LOTR, and they first had the plastic puches and then the nice tins, either way they were awesome.
7 - Forge World scenes - did Minas Tirith and Helms Deep selling out completely and going up in price on resale not make a huge hint that it was a good idea?

Things they also could do is;
1 - support in stores or on WD online - how hard is it to type up a few words and show a fan painted model?
2 - the 'price to the market' thing that we all know would help all the systems.

Or in a ideal world a whole section ( including a separate battle report, painting guides that type of thing) like the old wds in the happy days were you could get a box of 24 models for €23.00 8-) . Sadly I wasn't a war gamer at that splendid time :(

I agree with you on all those, but I don't think Hobbit Dice will make a big difference. Although Forge World will have its opportunity later, there wasn't any places AUJ that they could do (with the exception of Erebor, which is a bit too big) I'm sure Dale and Dol-Guldur would be perfect opportunities for Forge World.

If they had done a gate like they did with the other two, they could make a nice erebor gate that Thorin and the guards were on, with two cool giant dwarf sculpted flanking towers. It would work, same number of pieces as Minas Tirith wall set. But I am dreaming.

Wow, something on LOTR and not the Hobbit! That's nice for a change.

It would be in our best interest to show support and 'like' the article about LOTR stuff if you have a Facebook account. There are not a lot of ways to show support for our hobby without paying GW money, but this is one and everyone should do it. PLEASE.
