Weapons and special strikes...

Sun Jan 05, 2014 6:17 pm

Sorry again if this is a silly newbie question...
As we know this is a WYSIWYG game, so can goblins for example who may be figures depicted with various weapon types such as swords/pick or axe looking things that are not identified in the war gear options make use of the special strike rules for that equipment? Or must they just be hand weapons unless purchased as other, such as the goblin heroes.
Thanks

yes they can. For example with moria goblins they can use the feint rule since they have a dagger, which counts as a handweapon. Another example is the new EFGT goblins, where they have heaps of different weapons, however they are described as handweapons in their profiles with an available upgrade to a two-handed weapon. This means a goblin holding an axe can use piercing strike. As you said its you get what you see. Hope this helps. :D
